Haneda Airport Cafe Lounge NODOKA Review: Getting In with Priority Pass (Amex Platinum)

On October 17, 2026, before an 11:00 flight to Miyakojima, we visited Airport Cafe Lounge NODOKA on the 2nd floor of Haneda Airport Garden.
I was worried about finding a parking space, so we left home early and arrived around 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. to kill time before boarding. My wife and I each got in with the Priority Pass that comes with our American Express Platinum cards. Our daughter came along as a companion and was admitted for free.
In short, it was great that a lounge you can use before a domestic flight also serves light meals. The food was better than I expected.
Basic information
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Location | 2nd floor of Haneda Airport Garden (directly connected to Terminal 3, public area before security) |
| Hours | 24 hours (opened July 17, 2026) |
| Time limit | Free for up to 3 hours (paid beyond that; check the official site for current terms) |

How to get in, and fees
- Eligible: Priority Pass. We got in with the Priority Pass that comes with the American Express Platinum Card.
- Condition: a boarding pass for a departing flight is required. It cannot be used for arriving flights.
- Perk: choose 2 of 3: one à la carte item, 2 cans of beer, or a 40-minute shower (the bath towel costs extra).
- Beyond 3 hours: 3,400 yen off the regular rate (the shower is not discounted).
- Companions: my wife and I each entered with our own Priority Pass. Our daughter (age 9) entered with us for free as a companion.
- Reception: it was not crowded and we got in without waiting. They checked our boarding passes for the departing flight.
Facilities
- Seating: sofa seats, semi-private rooms, power-recliner sofas (a priority room for Priority Pass members), a Japanese-style private room (for groups) and a women’s area (all from secondary sources). We sat at a table seat.
- Power: there were outlets at the table seats.
- Wi-Fi: available (we did not use it this time).
- Other: a 40-minute shower, paid massage chairs and paid meeting rooms are also available. We did not choose the shower this time.
- Crowds: it was quiet between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m.
Food and drinks

My daughter and I chose the pork bun (from Yabaton). They simply looked good. Each bun has a pig stamped on top, and it tasted better than I expected. The bun is small, a good size for a light morning bite.

My wife chose the skewered cutlets (from Yabaton) and a can of Asahi Super Dry. She also said it was better than expected.
The perk lets you pick 2 of 3: an à la carte item, 2 cans of beer or a 40-minute shower. Here is what we chose (we could pick two, but I only took a pork bun).
| Person | What they chose |
|---|---|
| Me (Priority Pass) | Pork bun (Yabaton) only. I skipped the beer and the shower |
| Wife (Priority Pass) | Skewered cutlets (Yabaton) + canned beer |
| Daughter (companion) | Pork bun (Yabaton). Free |
- Food: the menu also had ramen, curry and vegan options.
- Drinks: coffee and the like are self-serve, drink-bar style.
What we liked
- The food was better than expected.
- A lounge you can use before a domestic flight, and it serves light meals.
- It was quiet between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., and we got in without waiting.
- There were outlets at the table seats.
What could be better
- The drinks are drink-bar style, so the coffee is a little underwhelming.
- The pork bun is small.
Summary
I can recommend this lounge to anyone. The drinks are a bit basic, but being able to eat a light meal and sit down to wait is a big plus. If you have Priority Pass, it is a good option for getting to Haneda early and passing the time before your flight.
