JAL Sakura Lounge Naha Airport: Free Orion Beer and Salted Caramel Popcorn

On October 17, 2026, on our way to Miyakojima, I visited the JAL Sakura Lounge in the Naha Airport domestic terminal as a JAL Global Club (JGC) member.
I had a beer, and the snacks included “salted caramel popcorn.” There is no shower and no meal service, but it is a nice place to take a breather before departure.

How to get in
The lounge is open to JMB Sapphire and above, JGC members, JAL domestic First Class passengers and others. This time I entered as a JGC member.
The entrance is past the Gate A security checkpoint from the departure lobby; go left. It is a shared entrance with the Diamond Premier Lounge.
Drinks and snacks

I had snacks with my beer.
- Salted caramel popcorn: JAL’s popcorn, which has recently also been released as a product. It is caramel-coated popcorn.
- Rice crackers: a small dish of assorted rice crackers.
- Beer: the draft beer is said to be Orion Beer (free).
According to blogs and other sources, the lounge also offers the following:
- Whisky and Ryukyu awamori
- Okinawan-style drinks such as shikuwasa juice, guava juice and turmeric (ukon) tea
- Coffee (a bean-grinding machine), green tea and soft drinks
No meals are served; the snacks are the main offering.
Seats and facilities
- Seats: sofas, tables and window counters are available.
- Power: said to be available at most seats.
- Wi-Fi: said to be free.
- View: from the window counter seats you see little more than the terminal side, so do not expect a runway view.
What we liked
- Free beer to enjoy with snacks.
- Lounge-only snacks such as salted caramel popcorn.
- A good selection of Okinawan-style drinks.
What could be better
- No shower.
- No meal service; mostly snacks.
- Do not expect a runway view.
Since no meal is served, if you want a proper meal it is best to eat at a restaurant before or after the security checkpoint.
Summary
The Naha Sakura Lounge has no shower or meals, but free beer, local drinks and snacks make it a relaxing place before departure.
If you are a JGC member or fly First Class, stop by before your departure from Okinawa.
